Kim Hight Participates in
the 23rd
Genesis Awards Silent Auction to Benefit The Humane Society
Kim Hight donated two original pieces of art to
The Humane Society that were auctioned at the 23rd Genesis Awards
silent auction held in Beverly Hills, California on March 28, 2009.

The Genesis Awards, presented by the Hollywood
office of The HSUS, pays tribute to the major news and entertainment
media for producing outstanding works in television, film, print and the
arts which raise public understanding of animal issues. The nation’s
premiere consciousness-raiser, the Genesis Awards are presented annually
at a star-studded ceremony drawing representatives from the media,
entertainment, social, business and humane communities.
The after-party featured a high-end silent
auction with many luxury items and previewed before the ceremony on
the night of the awards. Kim Hight donated a 16x20 original oil
painting of a Scarlett Macaw. She also donated a gift certificate
for a 16x20 original oil painting of the pet or animal of the winning
bidder’s choice.
